2 Orange have had a lovely week this week. On Monday we went to London Zoo to look at colour and pattern on animals. We saw all kinds of animals and had a brilliant day.

Yesterday we had a special guest in our classroom. In science we have been learning about growing and changing. One of our mums brought in a baby that is 5 months old and we asked her lots of questions about how she looks after him.He was SOOOO cute!

In geography and in literacy we have been learning all about Australia. These are some great examples of postcards we wrote about famous Australian landmarks.

IT'S RED NOSE DAY!!!!

We have had a fantastic day raising money for children and adults in Africa and the UK. Some of us wore BIG clothes, and lots of us bought red noses(they were hard to keep on our noses!) We had great fun in different classes this afternoon working in our houses.

POLICE VISIT!!

Year 2 were lucky enough to have a visit from two local community police officers this week. We have been learning about people in the community who help us. The officers told us all about their jobs, what they carried on their belts and answered lots of our questions. We even saw their handcuffs. Lots of us are now thinking about becoming a police officer when we grow up. It sounds exciting! We hope to see PC Martin and PC Lee around the local area.
